As photographer and designer for the Miss Racing Xtravaganza 12×18 Poster Series, I handled every aspect of the creative process—from lighting and posing to photography, retouching, and final layout. The posters featured Cait Puccio, Miss Racing Xtravaganza 2020, styled in a mechanic-inspired jumpsuit with a retro 1950s pinup look, complete with a red hair scarf and canvas sneakers. She posed alongside the #8 Nitro Sprint Car, which displayed a thin blue line American flag—adding a bold and complex visual element to the shoot. The “thin blue line” American flag, a black and white American flag with a blue horizontal stripe, typically symbolizes support for law enforcement, representing the police as the line between order and chaos. These posters were created for Cait to sign and share with fans during her appearances throughout the racing season.

About Miss Xtravaganza
Miss Racing Xtravaganza is an annual title awarded to a motorsports ambassador who represents the racing community for one year. Recognized for her public presence and industry knowledge, the titleholder promotes motorsports through live appearances, charity events, and media engagements. Open to women 18 and older who are not under contract or holding another pageant title, the competition includes rounds in interview, sportswear, formal wear, and tasteful swimwear. Judged by motorsports professionals, the winner is awarded a cash prize and expected to attend at least ten racing events during her reign. Miss Racing Xtravaganza plays a visible role in growing fan engagement and bringing positive attention to the world of motorsports.
