Chambersburg Community Theatre: Digital Web, Photography & Video
CCT Board Member, Volunteer
As an acting board member of Chambersburg Community Theatre (CCT), I led the redesign of cctonline.org in Q4 2021 to support the launch of CCT’s new logo, designed by Cross & Crown.
The site was rebuilt on WordPress using the Divi Builder platform with a mobile-first approach and a strong focus on SEO for local search visibility. The redesign highlights CCT’s long-standing history in live theatre while honoring the volunteers who bring each production to life. New sections include past performances, workshops, auditions, STAGE Camp, FAQs, a meet the board page, photo galleries, and a news and blog area to help drive engagement and showcase CCT’s year-round community impact.
Project Overview
About Chambersburg Community Theatre
Chambersburg Community Theatre (CCT) is a non-profit, volunteer-driven company that has brought live theatre to Chambersburg since 1954. Based at the historic Capitol Theatre on South Main Street, CCT makes its home where it rehearses, performs, and welcomes audiences. Its mission is simple: entertain, educate, and enrich the local community through high-quality productions.
Founded by a small group of actors staging The Male Animal, CCT soon incorporated (1960) and became a nonprofit (1974). The company performed in various venues—Central Jr. High, Rosedale Theatre, Faust Jr. High, Wilson College—before returning to the Capitol Theatre.
CCT also offers hands-on opportunities: community members can audition, volunteer backstage, join workshops, or attend STAGE Camp. These programs strengthen local talent and build audience appreciation for all aspects of theatre production. Through its long history, CCT remains a cultural anchor—raising the bar for community theatre and celebrating the performing arts in Chambersburg.
